Lily's a born teacher

Today when I picked Lily up from school her teacher, Miss Mary, said she was so cute that day and so much fun. Before she left she had to tell me that Lily was the leader for the day and while in line she said, "Liam, it's not your turn to talk, kay?" She said she is a natural teacher :) I thought that was very cute but whether or not she will be a teacher, I do know that Lily likes to be in control and in charge. Jeff and I keep saying we'd love to be a fly on the wall at school to see how she interacts with everyone, but the teachers always say how much fun she is and a joy to have in their class.

Today Jeff flew to Atlanta for a meeting tomorrow. Apparently there's supposed to be a big storm so we are hoping and praying he doesn't get delayed a day.

We went to story time at the library and Lily had a great time seeing her friends Gracie and Lexi. They are peas in a pod those three, they just love each other and can't get enough of each other. Ryan loves bubbles at story time and for the most part does pretty well staying by me. Luckily stories are only for 15 min and then it's bubbles and play time.

I was so exhausted today that I was incredibly grateful kids went to bed easily and early. I tried so hard to be patient and loving, but I wasn't sure I could handle any drama. But they did well and I was able to get a lot done after they went to bed (going through kids clothes, updating the blog, making food for tomorrow, and reading scriptures) so I felt good about my day.
