Ryan chose a lego set with his birthday money from Granny Dot and he's pretty thrilled about it.

I was so impressed by how Ryan stayed in the lines. Lisa colored some, but Ryan did all the red and the javelin and diamonds. He is very attentive to detail.

Happy 6th Birthday Lily!

We had celebrated Lily's birthday at Mama Baer's and Lily wanted a party and we just never did it. So at the last minute I asked if some friends wanted to come get ice cream after school with us, and luckily Kalissa could come!

Paige and Kaitlynn came too! We then headed to the park afterward and Lily felt celebrated.

One of her birthday presents was a parrot pillow that she worked really hard on. It was such a fun little crafty project.

Lily wanted fish for her birthday, so we now own our very first pets! Lily's fish is named Swimling (pink), Ryan's is Swimler (yellowish green), and Max's is Fit (blue). They LOVE their fish and love watching them. Jeff was so great to spend time shopping at Petsmart and was just as excited as the kids were.

Ryan and Blake had so much fun going around the park like they're two teenagers, cruising around town.

Lily lost another tooth!

We got Henry's soaps he's selling to earn money for China for his violin group. Stuck inside are a dinosaur, giraffe, butterfly, and fairy. Very fun and clever!

Lily's first talk for church. She was able to read it all by herself and came up with the idea.

And then she read the scripture verse all by herself too. She did a great job.

We went to the Mason's farm to bring some produce over to a mission in Fort Collins that cooks for the homeless. The kids had fun playing on the logs and in the hay first.

And they got lots of yummy strawberries.

Ryan's first day of preschool at FaithSteps. He had a little hard time going, but then was happy to stay and had a great day when I picked him up.

Jeff was out of town when we put the fish in, so when he got back he was thrilled to watch the fish with the kids.

We had a play date at Cara's house and Lily loved their climbing tree. She's up hiding in there somewhere.

The kids are so funny because if they get a "special" cereal piece, one that is connected, it's a big deal to them and Lily often likes to document it.

And Queen Amidala showed up.

We attended our first hot air balloon launch here in Windsor for the harvest festival. Last year we went, but it was too windy so it got cancelled. It was so much fun and a beautiful sight.
