Dr. Visit

When Ryan woke up this morning he still seemed tired so Jeff brought him to our bed. He just laid his head down and would sleepily smile at me while Jeff tickled his face and neck. Definitely one of the sweetest moments with him in the early morning hours of the day. I was sad to have to get up and disrupt it.

When Lily woke up she wanted to see her Valentine's from her friends. She wanted to know who each card was from, they are like little treasures to her.

Today I had my 30-week check up. Lily has been so excited about her doctor kit that she insisted on bringing it with her to the appointment. So, dressed as a princess and carrying her kit, she was a hit at the office. The  nurse let her help get my blood pressure and then while we were waiting for Dr. Priebe she listened to the baby's heart on my tummy, took my temperature (I had a fever), gave me a shot and checked my eyes. It was a good visit.

Lily just loves painting and got some paints out. She could do that all day and the kit was only $1 at Walgreens, I should have gotten a lot more. Ryan loves paint brushes too and couldn't be convinced to leave the table and his brushes today.

Ryan wanted to hang out under the blankets today so Lily had to join him and then brought along all her friends.
