Easter Egg Hunts

Lily wearing my sweater and a fluffy scarf for a hat. She is always dressed up in something fun.
Sometimes it is so quiet and I don't know what the kids are doing, but often they are down building legos. And if Jeff is home that is a favorite activity they do with him.
Max had fun feeling Lily's doll.
Max insists on helping out when I clean.
These kids sure love their dad.
Ryan wanted to wear a tie, but he didn't want to button his top button. We talked him out of the tie before church.
Lily started swim lessons with Lacey Whitehead and she loves it! As soon as her lesson is over she calculates how many more days until she gets to go back.
I came in the room to fine Lily and Max taking a little break.
This hung on our wall for a long time, but it was time to clean up so we took it down. I love this note Lily made for me, she is the sweetest.
Lily had the best playdate at Kalissa's house and it ended with a trip to McDonald's.
Lily's primary teacher, Stacie Mathis, offered to watch the kids when they had school off (isn't that so nice!) They had a great time and put this creation together. And Max just kind of wandered around, like he usually does.
Max was exited to wear Lily's boots.
Max typically always has a ball in his hand. But if there are people playing basketball at the park, it's hard to get him to come play rather than spend the whole time watching.
I walked in the room to find this, Max and Ryan had climbed on the changing table to get a better view of the artwork.
This state they named Luke, because he loves Star Wars (that's what he's reading). And his bird they named Poe.
Playing at the toy store is fun!

Lily is often at this table coloring or drawing, her very favorite pastime.
Lily got went to a martial arts birthday party, very fun!
Our friend, Amy Brown, keeps giving us Star Wars toys they are no longer using at her house. Ryan thought he had won the lottery, look at that face.
I hosted a Thrive party at my house with a lot of people. I was totally exhausted by the end, but that night the carbon monoxide detector went off. I wasn't sure if it was the battery or not, but I read to get everyone out of the house and call 911. So I dragged all three sleeping kids to the car and called. It turns out it was just the battery and Ryan was disappointed to see pictures the next day and find out he slept through the whole thing.

At the farm coloring eggs with paint.

Max loves eating yogurt like this, but he gets so messy after and then usually gets upset. Although this picture looks like he is happy to show off his messy hands.

Lily and Ryan taught Max how to walk along the cold sections of Costco, so now he won't walk on the main floor. He has to walk the length of an are like this.

He was pretty happy to discover his favorite cheese while doing this.
Lily is excited to try on her dress for the cruise!
We have our newest NUCCA patient! I noticed Lily had a major head tilt and her shoulders were off so we got her in. She was the perfect patient.
Max always loves sitting with Jeff.
We woke up with a sign to our door telling us to hunt for easter eggs. The kids were in heaven searching.

It took us a bit to figure out who it was from, but then we realized it was from the Mathis family, they are so good to us!'
I just love Lily's drawings! They are so fun!

Max has to work really hard to push the cap in all the way on his markers. I love his face.
An Easter egg hunt at the farm. We were so happy Jeff got to come with us and see where we go each week.

Max loved picking up the eggs so Jeff just kept throwing them back out of the basket. Max had a great time.

And then a friend of Cyndi Mason's had donated lots of toys for the kids to exchange their tickets. What a great activity!
Lily got to attend her preschool friend, Nathan Schramm's birthday party at gymnastics.
So sweet to catch him in moments like this.
Painting rocks at the farm.

Lily brought up all of these tunnels and put them together for Max. He had a great time crawling through.
The kids were having a really hard time listening. We made charts for Ryan to earn back his bike he had to do something the first time I asked. He earned it back in no time, he was so eager to do everything right away. I forgot how powerful stickers are.
Lily wanted to join in on the fun so her chart was for no whining. She also did great and was very motivated by stickers.
I loved Lily's chalk drawing.

Bug day at school! Lily was a butterfly.
