Pajama Day

I forgot to post on Sunday when Lily was getting ready for church and putting her tights on she said, "pull all the way up to Bubbie, now all the way up to Mommy." I couldn't figure out what she was talking about then remembered that she refers to her left foot as Lily (I found out she remembers which foot is Lily because it has the wart on it), right foot as Daddy, left knee as Bubbie, and right knee as Mommy. So she was pulling the tights up past her knees which meant they were going up to Bubbie and Mommy.

Speaking of warts, we have been putting some bandaids on her wart to help heal it. Today she noticed a mole on my neck and said, "Mommy, we can put a bandaid on your wart and it will make it go away, okay?"

It was quiet this morning and I knew the door to Ryan's room  had been shut but I didn't know what was going on inside. I finally came to check and found Lily on the bed (which she now calls Daddy's bed) watching my phone and Ryan was lying on the ground drinking a bottle.....and it was completely dark in the room. I guess we all need a little down time.
Ryan is happy when he finds anything that can be used for a stool. Here are Lily's sleep diapers. It allowed him to pull a few more things off the fridge which was very fulfilling to him.
Lily got to wear here pajamas to school today to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday. No question what she would wear, Minnie Mouse of course. While she was getting dressed she asked where her Minnie Mouse sleep diapers were. Once those jammies go on she is in sleep mode, but luckily she was okay not wearing them to school.
The kids came to a consignment sale with me today. We shopped for 45 minutes and waited in line for an hour, just in time to make it to Lily's preschool. There were a couple meltdowns but overall the kids did awesome and I was very grateful we made it through in one piece. As soon as we got to the car and I gave them lunch they were much better. Lily changed into her jammies in the car and then Ryan fell asleep 2 minutes before getting to Lily's school. Poor boy, he was exhausted. I was relieved that I had gotten everything ready in the morning since we didn't have time to come home though. And now Ryan is happy with his new toy workshop (which was only $10, I love not paying full price for toys!!!)
