This morning we had two baptisms to attend. Jeff played the piano for Cassidy Curry's baptism and I did the Primary welcome. The kids were good at first but as soon as Jeff came back with us they got all energized and we had to take them out. But before that Lily said, "Mommy, I'm not 3 anymore, I'm 8 so I can get baptized."
Because of the wild behavior I just left after that one but Jeff stayed for the second one since his home teachee, Coby Ford, got baptized and Jeff gave a great talk on baptism. He said there was a wonderful spirit and he felt impressed to talk about repentance and baptism and the importance of renewing our covenants by attending church each week and challenged them to make a goal of preparing for the temple as a family so they can all be dressed in white together.
We've had a relaxing day and are pretty tired so we took some much needed naps. After waking up Lily and Ryan did bubbles and Ryan did a great job of blowing his own!
"Mommy, I gave him markers and he is so happy. He loves markers."
And here are some photos from a few days ago when Jeff played outside with the kids. Ryan must be learning from watching all those soccer games with Jeff (by the way, he can now say soccer) and knew just what to do with that ball!
Lily loves playing ball as well, these kids love being active.
And Ryan enjoying his Lucky Charms hidden away where no one could steal his marshmallows.
