Today was a really hard day for me. I was so tired for some reason, well actually I know the reason, I am pregnant and often can't sleep comfortably at night. But today seemed especially challenging to get going and be positive throughout the day. And then to top it off I lost my debit card at the grocery store. The funny thing about having something bad happen is that you are so annoyed and yet you don't think about all the times it could have happened in the past and didn't. So I tried to think of that since I often put my card in my pocket as to not have to take in my diaper bag or whole wallet, it could easily have fallen out before. After getting home and discovering it gone I headed back to the store. I searched around and had no luck so I went home intending to call Wells Fargo when I get a call from them! Someone had found my card in the parking lot and returned it to the Wells Fargo just 2 minutes from our house! I couldn't believe it and was so grateful for someone's kindness. I wish so much I could contact them and let them know how much I appreciated it. It wasn't far from the grocery store but what if they were in a hurry and took time out to do this for me? Anyway, I felt very blessed by my Heavenly Father despite my being in a sour mood and doing nothing to deserve.
Once I got home I wasn't in the mood to make much for dinner, but the kids wanted pumpkin pancakes and were happy to help.
The next day was our craft day. I just show this picture so Mama Baer can see how all the masks she gave us got some good use.
Even Ryan got into it.
Lily's kitty, she was very proud.
Lily trying on Ryan's mask. I was impressed with his paint job, which he did all by himself.
Going out in the cold to run errands with Mom and Dad. Ryan's new monster hat has ears that move when you squeeze the purple claws. And since Lily isn't wearing a monster hat she is just trying to channel being a monster.
