Winter Fun at Mama Baer's

The kids always have such a wonderful time at Mama Baer's house. With Jeff gone so much, I have asked if the kids can go there at least one weekend a month, just so I can have a break. And they have been so kind and happy to have the kids stay. This is the only place that when I leave, Max actually waves goodbye to me and blows kisses...no tears.

Ryan's fixing the buttons on Olaf.

Giving hugs.
Holding hands.
Throwing snow.
Max loves his big brother.

Lisa got a kit to make a gingerbread house and train.
Mary gazes at her newborn babe. They acted out the Nativity scene.
Very intent on that frosting.
Big smiles.
Michael is the donkey.

Learning to say "cheese."

Nana asked if she was Mary. She replied, "no, I have twins, Luke and Leia. I'm Padme."
Some projects you just have to eat.

Lily is helping Sarah with a project for Primary.

Ryan is helping out as Joseph.
Lily's message here is Merry Christmas everyone and don't eat my gingerbread babies.
Now she's Mary again.
Getting the house ready.
Sweet cuddle.
Ryan loves looking at box fronts.

Lily forgot to pack pjs so she's happy to wear Nana's shirt to bed.
The finished product!

Lily got to go to Zoo lights and even saw princesses. It was a fun and cold night.
Michael, Sarah, Lily, Nick, and Lisa
And add Nana.

Very tired on the way home...but holding tight to her "light saber."
