Christmas Eve we played Pie in Face, a game given to us by Greg and Holly. The kids were very excited.

| Dressed in Christmas PJ's. |

| Our friends dropped off caramel apples, the perfect dessert. Jeff was very excited. |
| Max loves tickling feet. |
| Getting ready for Santa. |
We had a wonderful Christmas! Jeff found a marble run under Michael's bed and spent about 3 hours setting it up Christmas Eve. We set cookies and carrots out for Santa and the Lily just kept saying how excited she was. It is so fun to feel the energy of anticipation from these sweet kids. They actually woke up a little later than normal, so we got some good rest as Jeff and I didn't even go to bed that late. It turns out the marble run was a huge hit! I think that's all Max did and it has continued to entertain for days and days after.
| Max loves his Star Wars fruity snacks. |
| Best gift ever. Lily colors all day and night on this pad. |
| Still loving that marble run. |
| Excited about a remote control car. |
| Ryan loves his Star Wars cars. |
| I bought a snow speeder for Luke Skywalker the day after Christmas and Ryan loves it. |
| Ryan got Devin's old Star Wars CD case from Granny Dot and is very excited. |
After opening presents we drove to Westminster and the Christmas celebrations kept going. We had such a fun time, the kids did great and loved their presents and opening them. Lisa and Nick gave Max a basketball and hoop and that was the best present he could have had. He was busy with it the whole time, except if he got a new ball he'd play with that for a bit, or stop to pick up garbage if we asked. Here are some fun photos from the day, courtesy of Diana.
| "I am Iron Man. I am Captain America." |
| Max is a happy soul, especially when he's around all the people he loves. |
| Lily loves her dolls and has played with them many times a day since bringing them home. |
| Michael's gift to Sarah (a brother and sister). He knew he succeeded when it made her cry, I thought it was pretty sweet. |
| These kept Ryan occupied for awhile. |
| Michael unwrapped so much food...typically with other presents attached to them. |
| I guess it's better to just not ask anymore. |
| Ready for Christmas! |
| Sarah finished the albums from the Hawaii trip, very fun! |
| Lily loved wearing her candy cane ears this holiday season. She enjoys being festive. |
| "Michael, that's too little!" |
| Happy with her Minnie hat and Minnie purse. |
| What a good boy, he chose the orange over the M&M's. |
| Ryan is a Star Wars fan, can you tell? |
| Do you think I liked my gift? It was a gift card from Sarah for Picasso and Wine. I can't wait to choose our paint night! |
| The happy couple. |
| The kids thought it was so funny when Jeff got toilet paper (with a Star Wars shirt inside). The boys strangely enough took bites out of the toilet paper, not sure what inspired that, but they thought it was hilarious. |
| The present game! Sarah and Diana wrapped SO many presents, to open After the gift giving. If you rolled doubles you got to unwrap a present with a hat, vest, and gloves on. The kids presents were wrapped in different paper and they didn't have to dress up. It was very fun to watch. I tried to participate (I did get some lucky rolls), but Max was content to lay on me the whole time. |
| What a happy little family. |
| Jeff in the present game. |
| Max holding on to his beloved ball. |
| He was my buddy all day. |
| I love that face. |
| Lily wanted to bring these glasses sledding the next day, "just in case I need them." |
| All our goods from the present game. Can you believe Sarah shopped for this all, but then had to wrap it all? It was so much work because there are a lot of little things in there. |
| Max wasn't as interested in walking the dog as he was in eating it. |
| Diana captures the best smiles from him! |
| The kids took turns guessing what this was....hmmm...I wonder what it could be? |
| Who doesn't love a dancing Santa? |
| Roll that double, Sarah! |
| Lisa found the perfect shirt. |
| Ryan loves being funny and enjoyed pretending to be a minion. |
| Sarah cut out the kids names in a snowflake (one for each child) and framed it. Such a beautiful gift! |
