Funny Kids

Sometimes I'm just texting Jeff during the day telling him all the funny things the kids are saying. The other night Ryan was going to sleep on the couch when I heard him coming to my room. He was wearing Lily's snow gear and needed help putting her gloves on. He said, "I'm trying to be like Lily!"He then came in and said he wanted to wear his gloves to bed but one was too small. I told him the one with the "x" is Max's and the one with the "s" is his. "But there's no "s" in my name!" I said "s" is for small. He then told me that when he was a baby he wore the "x" gloves, but his name was still R-Y-A-N. Oh, and he wore the gloves to bed and ended up going to sleep on the floor under the table. He said, "when Daddy comes for breakfast he will say, who's under there?" And I will say, "it's me, Ryan!"

Since Ryan sleeps mostly on the couch at night he often comes to my room multiple times before falling asleep to give me a hug and kiss goodnight. One time he came in and said, "Mommy, I hope you have a really, really good sleep."
Sometimes he falls off the couch.
Ryan and Lily are playing so well together lately. The other day they played on Lily's bed with all their friends and set them up to watch "Star Wars." They even held up a blanket to be the movie screen. They kept saying, "this is a long movie" as they held it up, they must have been getting tired. As they role played Ryan talked about one of the dolls, "she's a good sister."

I love seeing our house all lit up!
Reading with Reno the dog. Lily read, "What is a Wookie" to Reno and Reno's owner read other Star Wars books too.
Crafting at the library.
Painting a snowflake.
Max brings the stool over to the bed, climbs up, then slides down. He could do this all day.
They said they're making piano keys out of the Star Wars puppets.
Lily makes the best marble runs! She's amazing!
Lily helping me with dinner peeling carrots.
And she cut all those potatoes by herself.
LOVED getting Star Wars shirts from Granny Dot and Papa in the mail.
Ryan and Lily have to wear these shirts two days in a row, wearing it only one day a week isn't enough.

At Leah and Taryn's church they do a live nativity each year. So I took the kids to watch and we had a great time. We watched it through two times, talked to Paige, and enjoyed some cookies. It was cold, but Jeff had to study so it was a good way to spend our evening.
