Nature Walk

I knew I needed to get out of the house early on so we went on my favorite nature walk by Mountain Island Lake. It was so calm and peaceful and it makes my soul happy. Lily likes to keep the boys on track and gets upset when they go too fast: "boys, come back now, we can't see you, don't go so fast, okay, let's hurry along now." She wanted to make it to the destination and once we were there we could sit and enjoy our snacks. On the way back the boys loved having me pretend I was a scout trooper, Lily was Leia, Max was Wicket, and Ryan was Luke. Then Max told me I was emperor Palpatine and I kept trying to shock them. It was a lot of fun.
