Amy Brown took the boys for nearly two hours and I got so much done! I went to three stores and had a very nice and relaxing time at Costco. Being able to go shopping by myself is a real treat because I don't leave the store absolutely exhausted. Max yelled out in pure joy when he saw that I had gotten applesauce and string cheese....that boy loves his snacks.
Ryan had to do his "About Me" poster and he and Lily worked hard to color it. He kept saying how well they worked as a team and how much he loved her. They did a great job and Ryan was really proud of it and excited to share it.

| For show and tell Ryan had to share something that started with the letter "j," since that was the letter for the week. So he drew a picture of a jellyfish, and then named his dragon and knight J names. I was so impressed with his drawings, it really is amazing the focus he has and how he can transfer what he sees and duplicate it on his page. Also, I noticed that his poster was the only one that was written entirely by the child, the others were written by their parents. Ryan worked so hard on filling that whole thing out. |
Jeff is in Maryland and actually going to see Greg and Holly while he's there for a job coaching week.

| The beautiful temple from the beltway. |
| "That's disgusting!" Jacob loves talking about pickle juice. |
I was brave enough to take the kids swimming by myself and they did a great job staying close to me and leaving when it was time to go. I feel like I could definitely do it again, and it was so nice for them to get some energy out.

Max saw me praying and then started telling me essentially everything he knows about the gospel. He said how Jesus wanted us to come to earth to get a body, something about Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, how Moroni took the gold plates back and Joseph Smith had to hide them. It looks like our morning scripture study is sinking in. It's pretty sweet to hear how even having a little gospel knowledge is so exciting for young kids. And when they are taught so young, they take it as truth because they have grown up hearing it. We have also read about baptism and Max is SO excited to be baptized. He talks all the time about Jeff baptizing him and how he will wear white clothes and pants and a shirt. He points to the church and says that is where he will get baptized.

| A very nice note from Amy Brown. |
| Ryan was very proud of his pyramid. |
| The kids added Ryan's toddler bed mattress to the crib and enjoyed being crazy. |
| Ryan saying "ho, ho, ho" as a bubbly Santa Claus. |
| I noticed Max was interested in the toilet paper roll on the counter in our bathroom. But I took a shower and didn't think anything of it. Jeff found this scene a little later. Max was pretty happy about the whole thing, but did take it out. |

| Max loves practicing the splits. |
| Lily in her pajamas walking around the house in her roller skates. |
| Ryan is so good at folding all of his laundry now! |
| Asleep in my bed. They couldn't sleep with Max, neither wanted to sleep on the floor in Lily's room, so I let them fall asleep here and I moved them to their beds. They were out in less than five minutes. |
| Lily had mustache day at school. She kept telling me she didn't want a mustache, then right before school started she said she really did want one. I quickly made one to put on a necklace, I was pretty proud of myself. But when I went to her school later in the day to volunteer, she wasn't even wearing it anymore. Ah me. |
