Jeff in India and Lily is a Reader!

Jeff went to India for his residency and I'm just so grateful for this wonderful opportunity he has had to visit so many interesting places. Here are a few pictures from his trip.

This was one of the harder residencies for me, so next time I think I will see about getting more help. I was just tired and a little on edge, sorry kids for an unpleasant mama! But here's to fresh starts, repentance, and trying to be a better mom. And here's some more random pictures from the month.

First I have to say how impressed we all are with Lily! She was challenged to read 25 books in her preschool class. She did that in two weeks, but came home and told me that she needed to help her class out and read more. So we did. She read 44 books, the most of any of the kids in all her teachers classes. She was amazing and zipped through books. She needed help with words on occasion, but a lot of times she just knew the word or was able to sound it out. We are so proud of her!

These are all the kids who read at least 25 books, they got a pizza party. Lily got a ribbon too because she read the most. 

And speaking of school, here's a picture of Max doing what he loves best when we drop Ryan off at his classroom.

Lily is really into reading books for school so she reads any chance she gets. 

A visit to the Butterfly Pavilion and the chance to hold Rosie the Tarantula. I even held her and it kind of creeped me out. 

Max loves trying to get his clothes on all by himself now. He took these pants and put them on about 10 times. He loves testing out his independence. 

Lily was happy to get some glasses from Mama Baers, she loves dressing up. 

More farm fun!

We got a squatty potty and our lives have changed for the better.
