The kids were so excited to see Jeff on Monday. He brought home a sparkly light pink necklace for Lily and an orange race car for Ryan. Ryan's car makes noises and one night he said, "I love my orange car so much." And Lily said she loves her necklace so much too. Jeff is really tired getting back into work and the right time zone, but it sure is nice having him in the same country again. Here are some photos from the week:
| At the park Max was so intrigued by this dad and his son playing basketball that he just watched for about 10 minutes. |
| Kids never seem to outgrow the exersaucer. Max found it in the storage items and instead on getting it out and Ryan had to play in it too. |
| Lily made play-doh ice cream cones for each of her friends. |
| Lily and Ryan threw a birthday party for Max. They gathered up lots of toys and put them in bags and decorated with banners. The rule is now only one birthday bag from now on, it took forever to put all the toys back. |
| Max didn't stay too long, but he got a big cereal box for snacks (I put some in the bowl for him) and plopped down to watch a show with the kids. |
On Tuesday we went to the harvest festival at the farm. We told a lot of people about it and some other wards came too and there was a great turnout. They also had a fundraiser with honey from the Mason's farm, fresh bread, granola, and other goodies. Cyndi and her friends put a great festival together and I felt grateful that we get to go every week!

| The kids loved running around the hay maze. And I loved that the hay was short enough that I didn't lose them. |
| Ryan and Max loved the ring toss. |
| Lily is getting excited about horseback riding! |
| She looks like a pro! |

| Ryan and Blake spent a long time sliding down this dirt hill getting very dirty, but they had SO much fun. |
| We waited a long time for Lily to ride the horse and Ryan got out of line. It turns out he really wanted to ride too so we had to wait all over again. But he was brave and had a great time. |
| And a tractor to finish it off. The kids got ring pops, which they thought was the best part of the day. |
Lily was sick this week throwing up and being very tired, but after a couple days she pulled through. And I got lots of experience cleaning throw up from carpet. Because of that we kind of stayed in, but when Lily got better she had a 3 hour play date with her Kalissa. Her mom said when it was time to go, they were so upset because they wanted longer. I guess that means they are good friends and love being together. Max had a doctor appointment and we waited so long in the waiting room and the exam room, but the kids did a really great job. Ryan rode around in the car getting gas, driving to Utah, getting water to bring back for Lily. Lily played in the little house and was busy with chores and planting. Max bounced from activity to activity and was very busy. It brought me so much joy watching them be respectful to one another and having fun with each other. And then once in the exam room where we waited longer, Lily and Ryan took turns pretending to be the doctor and coloring pictures. I felt proud of all of us for being so patient!

We had a busy Halloween day. I went to the church with Lily to help set up for the Halloween party, came home and got everyone. We ate then played games and went trunk or treating. We then came home for an hour and went out trick or treating. The kids had so much fun and Max quickly caught on to the magic of trick or treating. He raced to each house and cut through the lawn to get to the door quicker. The kids were very polite saying "thank you, happy Halloween, and have a great night!" Once we came home they loved opening the door to trick or treaters. Lily was the perfect hostess telling each person they could take two pieces of candy and to have a great night. It was fun being out, seeing neighbors, and watching the kids interact with others and being so sweet.

| After this picture the Captain America costume came off, but he did wear a Superman shirt and Captain America jacket. |
