Zoo Day!

While I had my alone time this weekend, the kids got to have the best day ever and go to the zoo with  everyone!
They always love a carousel ride.
A fun lego exhibit going on.
Ryan is studying that map very carefully so they don't get lost. You  never know when the zoo will up and change the things around after 30 or so years.

This picture does not seem quite right. But you know, sometimes strollers are so babyish. Nothing says you're growing up more than riding in a wheelchair.
Sandy is a very good sport.

Is he tired, bored, sick from ice cream? I think it's time for a nap.

Looks like he got his second wind.
Papa sure knows how to make Max laugh.
Ryan trying to teach Max how to hold hands.
How does one get a job building with legos for a living? That's got to be on many kids list of dream jobs.
Always smiling when she's with Nana.
I had to put this in since the kids were excited to tell me about the hippo opening his mouth wide. Apparently it was a highlight.
And Max is unsure about what he just got on. Luckily he has his trusty Sarah to hold on to.
Sandy finally gets to sit.

Ryan loves his Sarah.

Lily is living the dream....driving before she's 16.

Lily posing with her new accessory, the zoo map.
Ryan is in heaven to be walking, holding hands, and jumping every few steps with people he loves: Nick and Lisa.
Waving to Mama Baer and yelling "hi" each time they pass. The other grandmas got jealous with all the shout outs since Sandy is so popular.
Ryan loves his carousel rides.
Max and his buddy Nana.

Lily must be an oldest child. She held that map, took charge, and made sure they were all going in the right direction. They didn't get lost all day.
Lisa is always good at making Ryan smile and laugh.
Ryan always likes to help out with the watering.
Before going home the kids had to do one last thing: plant the fall sticks.
Ryan is overseeing the work.
Ryan loves any activity that involves a shovel and some dirt.
And Max loves any activity that involves being outside.
