Lily had her second round of vacation bible school this week at Redeemer Lutheran. She went last year as well and had a great time so we thought we'd do it again. Ryan and I had the same routine of dropping her off, putting Max to sleep, then having our alone time. I turned around and saw this in the car:
Tuesday Lily had dance class so she missed VBS, but I just happened to come across a most spectacular find on the library website. I think it was Ryan's dream come true. Although when Lily saw what was in the parking lot, she couldn't get out of the car and across the street fast enough. A crane, a bulldozer, and a school bus!

The kids insisted on waiting in the parking lot until all the vehicles left. We were the only ones there besides the library workers. However, the crane wasn't starting for some reason, and the operator was trying long enough that the library worker, Andrea, who was in charge, seemed a little worried. I asked Lily to pray for Gene that he could start it. We were sitting right next to Andrea and Lily said a short prayer for him and the crane. IMMEDIATELY after she said, "amen," the crane started up. And he had been trying for over five minutes. Andrea said, "wow, it started!" I made a big deal about how Heavenly Father answered her prayer so quickly and what a wonderful blessing that was. What a cool experience for Lily to have such an immediate answer to prayer, but I also hope that it was an example of prayer that perhaps Andrea may have needed to experience too.

| Post prayer, the crane is down! |
| Max liked the pole and the rocks |
| We couldn't leave until it was out of sight. |
| Max loves climbing and sitting in the basket. |
| Lily had $4 that she was determined to spend. So we had a fun time at the dollar store deciding on what to get. She only spent $3. |
| More yard work and the kids were happy helpers! |
| Lily and Ryan fought over who got to use the clippers. These kids sure love helping. And Jeff was amazing! He was exhausted form work but just came home and got lots of yard work done. |
