Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas and while I was not going to make a big deal about Santa Claus, Jeff had the kids make plates and notes for him and the reindeer and it was pretty cute. Lily's final request for Christmas was to have a big gold star, so Jeff found some gold paper and made a star to put on the tree. Lily noticed first thing in the morning and said, "that's just what I wanted!" We felt happy in that the kids didn't get a ton of stuff, so they appreciated an enjoyed the gifts they got. Ryan got cars and a car transporter from Granny Dot (which he loves) and Lily got art supplies (which she and Ryan love). They got books, a dress up headpiece, and a transportation sticker book for Ryan. It was a great day and Jeff and I didn't even get anything for each other, but we enjoy just seeing the kids excited about their gifts. After Christmas at our house we headed to Westminster to celebrate with the rest of the gang. The kids had a lot of fun there and I'll have to pictures from Nana for another post. But of course a highlight was talking to Michael (who looks and sounds great!) and then we left the kids for a few nights, so that was a wonderful Christmas present to us!

Carrots and cookies for Sant and his reindeer

Jeff wrapped each car for the car transporter and Ryan never got tired of getting another one

Lily loves getting her art supplies
Lining them up after unwrapping each one

A dump truck, another favorite
Loving her paint supplies!
Max is just happy to be there and have a bag and tissue paper

The had a great time painting together

Shoes are also fun toys

Our gift of games from Deanna and Devin. The kids love zombie dice, who would have thought?
