A few more pictures to finish off January

We had a very busy weekend! Lisa came Friday to spend the night, which was a lot of fun. She and Jeff (and Diana too) love playing this new game called 7 Wonders. They are all really into it and Jeff even bought an expansion set, so they happily played Friday night. On Saturday we went to Jumpin', then walked to a sporting goods store where I bought some exercise shoes, then headed home for naps (we were all exhausted). Lisa went home where she was helping with a huge service project, Jeff went to set up chairs for stake conference and attend the leadership session. I got the kids all ready for the babysitter with dinner, baths, a clean house, then went to the adult session of conference with Jeff. It was nice sitting in church together, holding hands, and listening to all the speakers without being distracted. This is the first time we have attended the adult session together in a few years (usually I just go by myself since he's been at priesthood), so it was good.

I did a lot of prep Sunday morning for a treat bag and toy bag and we left early and got a great parking spot and spot in the cultural hall for stake conference (which was an answer to our prayers). The kids actually did amazing and had fun seeing their music teacher Miss Kim lead the music and were busy with their reusable sticker book and magnet book. It was actually the best conference experience we have had. It's much better to be in the same room as the speaker as opposed to the primary room because it's easier to pay attention and it's not so loud. So now that we have found a system that works, we will have to try it again next time. I had given up going to conference as a family, but I can see that there's still hope for us.

Here's a few pictures from the last week:

Lily and Ryan emptied my whole linen closet and threw it down the stairs. Sliding down the stairs kept them occupied for about an hour though, so I think it was worth the mess.
Some Lily shots coming up!
I love Max's lips, I think he wants a drink too.
Lily caputred Ryan's intense focus on getting the tape off the holder.

Silly Daddy!
Something is wrong with the washer and it shakes a lot and makes a loud noise. Whenever that happens, Ryan runs to me and says, "the washer is going CRAZY, come see!" We all then have to rush and see the crazy washer. This time though Jeff and Lisa put the kids on the washer and it shook so much it was just as good as an amusement park ride.
Max always seems to get himself trapped in places. We never see it actually happen, we just find him in these predicaments after leaving him for 20 seconds.
He seems okay with it though.

Lisa came for a visit!
Lily loves playing with her brother.
And she lets him hit her with the construction vehicles.
We heard a lot of grunting in Ryan's room the other night. Jeff finally went in there to find Ryan had put the hamper in his bed, gotten inside it, and was working on getting his Cars blanket in there too. He cracks us up!
He was so happy to pose and knew he was being silly.
