Another day of no baby, so another day to publish a post: Darin and Rachel's wedding! It was such a wonderful event and how neat and incredible to have all
7 children and their spouses in the temple witnessing the last of the DeVore
children to get married. It was so special and I can’t believe it came and went
so fast. I felt like it was a whirlwind weekend and I wish we could have stayed
longer, but I think that’s the nature of weddings. Lily loved playing with her
cousins and her bond with Macy has remained even though they have been
separated. Lily loves her just as much as she did when we lived there so I
think it’s pretty neat how children can retain that even when so young. It was
also fun to see old friends from the ward at the reception along with Nicole
and Bobby who came from PA for the reception. I love catching up with people
but don’t like how little time there is to do it. But I’m grateful for the time
I had.
The first night we arrived we all went to the baseball field to watch Luc and Brigham play. Then the next day was time for wedding festivities! Lara Meyers from our old ward was so kind to watch Lily and Ryan (along with Holly and Greg's kids too) while we went into the temple.

While in the visitor center, Jeff discovered a picture of his grandpa Wilcox's brother, Keith Wilcox (top right), who was an architect for the DC temple.
Lily and Macy, best of friends.
They're married, hooray!
The temple shot with both sides of friends and family
The DeVore friends and family
The DeVore's
The proud parents
As Greg said, "one of these things is not like the other." Very fun to be the only girl in the middle of these six great men.
The twins
Rachel's family
The bridesmaids
The happy parents. This is the last married child for both of them, time to celebrate!
Time to eat

Now on to the reception!
I love all these people so much!
Granny Dot and Papa with all the grandchildren. Lily was not interested in smiling for the camera.
A beautiful setting for a reception.
Table of ancestors and family (Holly and Greg, Grandma and Grandpa Winder, my parents, and Ja and Laura--we forgot to bring our wedding photo).
Someone knows Darin very, very well.
He looks happy about this cake discovery.
So cute!
Papa Seymour entertaining the girls.
Ryan was a trooper all day, so by the end he was out like a light.
Marky got put in timeout for, I believe it was throwing a chair.
Tough guys, Brigham and Luc.
Nothing like balloons to make any party hoppin.'
So in love and so happy!
Lily loved dancing with her dad.
Mother of the groom and father of the bride.
This picture must mean that I was busy talking and Jeff was being kind to take both kids.
Those boys danced hard, and they have sweat to prove it.
Time to say goodbye with bubbles!
So fun to chat with Nicole, Bobby, and see baby Rowan at breakfast the next morning.
Aunt Janice and Uncle Rick came from Michigan. And Uncle Steve, Uncle Jim and Aunt Patti came out too. So fun to be with family and catch up.
Breafast at the Embassy Suites.
Anna and Ryan playing at the park.
When we went over to Macy's house, she had to put on her matching shirt.
I wasn't feeling well and didn't go to DC with Nathan, Kiersten, Greg, and Holly, but I thought this was a great shot of Henry pusing the wheelchair. What a great cousin and helper.
Last night of dinner together and we get to enjoy that Batman cake!
